FAQ :

Q: Why my pool water color is changed?

A: Due to lack of proper disinfection, your pool water will get contaminate by formation of algae and fungus and the water turns into greenish or gray in color. To avoid this problem, proper chlorination (Use Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator) should be done regularly.

Q: Why has my pool water developed fouling odour / colour or becomes dirty?

A: This is mainly due to lack of chlorine.

• Faulty or improper chlorination
• Low stabilizer level
• Due to clogged filters, reduction in water circulation / flow to your pool
• Sufficient concentration of chlorine solution or enough chlorine is not added.

Q: Why are pools so much trouble to keep clean?

A: A well BALANCED POOL is a breeze to keep clean. The basics of proper pool maintenance are

• Firstly - maintain a chlorine residual of 1.0 ppm min. (use Noble Chlor™ Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator)
• Second - maintain the pH at 7.6 – 7.8
• Third - ensure a calcium hardness level of < 200 ppm

This is called as BALANCED POOL in which you will have little or no further chemical maintenance requirement.

Q: What causes my kids eyes to sting / irritating?

A: The most likely cause of this is an incorrectly adjusted pH level. Whilst a very high chlorine level could be at fault, it is very likely that the chlorine solution must not have achieved homogeneity when mixed it to the entire pool volume. Using Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator can avoid such occurrence.

Q: Whether Electro chlorination is an established process?

A: Yes, Electro chlorination is an established process and has been in use world wide for domestic as well as Industrial applications for more than 3 decades. It is safe, efficient & user-friendly process compared to other conventional type of disinfection processes such as gaseous chlorination, bleaching powder usage and chlorine tablets etc.

Q: Why a Salt Water chlorinator? (Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator)

A: Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator Pool chlorinators helps in sanitizing the pool water by effectively killing the potential health hazards like bacteria, algae and other microorganisms and it will keep the pool clean and safe.

Q: Good reasons to put a Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system on your pool.

A:
a. Cost effective
b. No itching skin and red eyes
c. No need to purchase chlorine
d. Eco friendly system
e. Sparkling clear pool water
f. No handling or storage of hazardous chemicals.

Q: How does Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator work?

A: The electrolytic cell provided along with the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system is plumbed with the existing circulation piping systems of the swimming pool across the filter as a bypass line. Depending upon the pool capacity, a small amount of common salt is dissolved in the pool water. When filtration system is online with water flowing through the electrolytic cell, DC power is fed to the cell from the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator control panel and it generates Chlorine in the form of sodium hypochlorite, which is a powerful sanitizer. The hypochlorite generated oxidizes, the bacteria and sanitizes the pool water.

Q: Is Noble Chlor an economical system?

A: Yes, this method of chlorination is the most economical process compared to other conventional type of disinfection processes like gaseous chlorination, bleaching powder, chlorine tablets and commercial hypo etc. Although, the capital cost for this system is little on the higher side, the initial investment is recovered very shortly due to its reliability and consistency in sanitizing.

Q: How much salt has to be added in the pool?

A: Initially, a salt concentration 3000 ppm has to be maintained in the swimming pool at the time of installation of Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system. You may only have to top up salt level a few times a year. The amount of salt needed to top up and maintain a concentration of 3000 ppm can be determined from the salt balance table given in the operation manual of the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator.

Q: How much chlorine is produced?

A: Generation of chlorine can be adjusted and varied using Timer settings located at theNoble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator control system. And also, it depends on the model of the system you have purchased.

Q: How long should it operate each day?

A: For heavy bathers load, the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system just like your pool should operate the same amount of hours as your filter circulation pump. Normally this is 24 hours per day for commercial pools. For normal bathers load, the system should operate for 3 – 4 hours per day when the filter circulation pump is running. However it is advisable to refer the Operation Manual with your supply for specific data.

Q: Should chlorine stabilizers be used?

A: Yes, definitely chlorine stabilizer should be used as with all chlorine pools, stabilizer will minimize the loss of residual chlorine in the pool due to the effect of sun and will assist the chlorinator in completing its task with greater ease. We recommend to use cyanuric acid as stabilizer for swimming pools & spas. Please refer our operation manual for stabilizer balance table. Normally, 80 ppm concentration of cyanuric acid should be maintained in the pool.

Q:How does the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system help my health?

A: Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system continuously keeps your pool clean, odor free and healthy. No dangerous side products like chloramines is generated. And also, the added common salt is having its own theraptic action to human health and skin.

Q: Does the salt damage pool equipment?

A: No. Low levels of salt will not create any damages like corrosion to any of the equipments used in pool circulation system.

Q: How do I maintain the electrolytic cell?

A: The cell should be inspected for cleanliness every 3 months. To inspect the cell, first be sure that the filter pump is turned off and DC power feed to electrolytic cell is cut off. Close the isolation valves and remove the cell from the connecting parts. Look inside the cell, if you see any build up of calcareous deposits on the electrodes surface, cleaning should be done. Refer Operation Manual for clear procedure which is very simple.

Q: Who can install the Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system?

A: The Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system requires some plumbing and electrical work to install, this is best left to professional. Additional cost for installation would be nominal. Since, most pools have maintenance worker on site, it is a simple installation procedure if they follow the step by step procedure provided in the Operation Manual.

Q: What about all the other pool devices in the market?

A: There are many devices that claim to keep pools clear and sterile. Some work well, others do nor work very well. Generally, Electro Chlorination is the only long term solution for those who want a simple pool care regime. Magnetic devices copper and silver electrodes and other devices are out dated.

Q: What is meant when they say “chlorine free”?

A: Unlike Gaseous chlorine application, Noble Chlor pools are essentially free from chlorine in the sense that the action involved is only using the nascent oxygen, evolved from the generated (NaoCl) sodium hypochlorite by electrolysis, from Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator. Thus, Noble Chlor pools are “chlorine free” at the same time more effective in sanitizing and eco friendly in application.

Q: Will salt affect equipment and the pool finish?

A: In fact, salt is compatible with all pool finishes and almost all pool equipment manufactured today is salt compatible.

Q: What is the best time to run my Noble Chlor Swimming Pool & Spa Chlorinator system?

A: In a saltwater pool, the chlorine is manufactured by the Electrochlorinator chlorinator as the pump is running, providing a “trickle feed” into your pool. Since chlorine is affected by UV light it can disappear as quickly as it is made if the pump is running during the day. For this reason, it is generally recommended that the pump is set to run in the early mornings and late afternoons when the sunlight is not as strong. This will only ensure economical operation.
